Job Description

Manpower UK seeks an experienced FLT Driver (Counterbalance) for its Seacroft manufacturing client in Leeds, supporting production and distribution of personal care goods. This temporary role pays up to £17.64 hourly, operating a rotating 4-on, 4-off pattern covering two day shifts (07:00-19:00) and two night shifts (19:00-07:00). Duties involve safe truck operation, vehicle loading and unloading, stock movement across warehouse and production zones, plus accurate storage. Candidates need proven counterbalance experience, with assessments covering driving skills and health screening, including drug and alcohol checks. You will handle materials and finished items efficiently, ensuring smooth workflow. This position suits flexible workers comfortable with mixed shifts near Coal Road, LS14.

FLT Driver (Counterbalance) - Leeds We are seeking experienced FLT Drivers to join our client s manufacturing facility in Seacroft, Leeds. You will play a key role in supporting the production and distribution of world-renowned personal care products, ensuring efficient material intake and dispatch of finished goods.

• Location: 96 Coal Road, Seacroft, Leeds, LS14 2AR.
• Pay: £17.64 per hour
• Shift Pattern: 4 days on, 4 days off (2 days 07:00-19:00, 2 nights 19:00-07:00, then 4 days off)
• Assessment: Successful candidates will complete an FLT assessment and health screening, including drugs andamp; alcohol testing.

• Safely operate FLT Counterbalance trucks
• Load and unload vehicles
• Move stock and materials across warehouse and production areas
• Store stock accurately within designated locations
• Complete daily FLT safety checks and report defects
• Maintain accurate stock records and complete relevant paperwork/system transactions
• Adhere to all Health andamp; Safety procedures and site rules
• Support general warehouse duties as required
• Keep work areas clean, organised, and hazard-free
• Work safely alongside Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs), pedestrians, and warehouse traffic
• Maintain high attention to detail and situational awareness in a fast-paced environment
• Report hazards, near misses, and safety concerns promptly

• Valid, accredited FLT Counterbalance licence (ITSSAR, RTITB, or similar)-in-house licences are unfortunately not accepted
• At least 12 months FLT experience in a warehouse/logistics environment
• Minimum 1 year remaining on FLT licence
• Good numeracy and literacy skills
• Strong communication skills
• Commitment to Health andamp; Safety and safe working practices
• Excellent attention to detail, especially around AGVs
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, flexible, and proactive attitude
