Up to 90,000 + generous benefits package

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Category, Buying or Trading professional to take ownership of a major Own Brand proposition within a large and growing FMCG business.

As Category Controller, you'll lead the category strategy, drive trading and profitability, and manage a team of category professionals. You'll have real influence over P&L, margin, supplier negotiations, product development and commercial performance.

• Set and deliver the Own Brand category strategy
• Lead trading plans and drive profitable sales growth
• Own P&L, margin and commercial budgets
• Manage, coach and develop a high-performing team
• Build strong supplier partnerships and lead key negotiations
• Use customer, market and performance data to identify growth opportunities
• Work cross-functionally to improve availability, margin, quality and supply
• Lead initiatives that deliver genuine commercial change

You'll be a proven senior commercial leader with experience across FMCG, Food Retail, Wholesale, Buying, Trading or Category Management.

You should bring strong P&L and negotiation experience, excellent commercial judgement, analytical capability and a track record of leading teams and delivering profitable growth or transformation.
