role summary

You will help raise money for the Walk Wheel Cycle Trust charity.
The charity makes it easier for people to walk, wheel and cycle.
You will talk to people on the National Cycle Network about the charity.
Your job is to inspire people to support the charity by giving money.

key tasks

Work as part of a team of fundraisers.
Speak to people face-to-face on the National Cycle Network.
Help tell people about the charity’s work.
Encourage people to become donors.
Use training to be confident and ready for the job.

skills and experience

Enjoy walking, cycling and being outside.
Like talking to new people.
Good at listening and explaining things clearly.
Able to work well with others.
Stay positive and keep trying, even if it is hard.
Having a bike to get to the work place helps but is not required.

£ pay and hours

Pay is £14.80 per hour in London.
Pay is £13.45 per hour in other UK areas.
Work between 5 and 30 hours a week.
Shifts last about 5 hours, between 10 am and 7:30 pm.
You get paid every week.
This is not a job where you only get paid by commission.

location and workplace

Work in places like Barnstaple, Bath, Bristol, Exeter, Cornwall, Edinburgh, Glasgow, London, and Manchester.
You will often be outside, near green spaces and nature.
Work on the National Cycle Network, which is a safe place for walking and cycling.
